140·6 hours agoI am really beginning to fucking hate AI. Like, before I just didn’t care for it, it just wasn’t really my interest. But now I’m really beginning to fucking despise that shit and I really can’t wait to see the “AI economy” completely fucking destroyed.

They also don’t make insulin the way that he did back then. Not justifying the price hike cause the way its made now is way cheaper than it was with the old method (which was basically grinding up animal parts to extract insulin). These fucks are just profiting off of the suffering of Americans who have literally no choice but to use their drug.

Technology@lemmy.world•RAM is so expensive that stores are selling it at market pricesEnglish
241·9 days agoLoL, LLM’s aren’t capable of being “competent” at anything. Not law, not teaching, not even coding. They are pure garbage at nearly everything they are applied to. Yes, some of these things have had some limited success at finding patterns in the noise. But those successes are grossly outweighed by the absolute failure of them to do anything else.

Yeah, this was a surprise to me as well. Although, its the only video player I can get to play Blu-ray discs. I can even play 4K discs to a certain extent (my processor and video card just aren’t up to that particular task).

Technology@lemmy.world•Gmail can read your emails and attachments to train its AI, unless you opt outEnglish
6·10 days agoI think it’s cute how everyone thinks that just by clicking the little opt-out button they’re actually going to magically not have already fed your entire email backlog into their massive AI database. 😂
But hey, scouts honor, if you click that opt-out button they promise never to use any of your new emails in their constant information scape of your life.
There’s also some timing involved in Adams release of this comic. They just came out with a TV series that is muddying the waters in regards to her activities during World War II.
Dude what the fuck? That was only like the very beginning of the video, where’s the rest???
I give one third of my disposable income to charity at the end of every week, I also berate my daughter and don’t allow her to go out of the house by herself because I think she’s an absolute whore for talking to the negro children at her school.
Am I a good person?

This is Lemmy not reddit. Unless it’s a political thing on .ml feel free to ask and most people will be happy to answer your questions, especially if it has to do with Linux or FOSS.

Technology@lemmy.world•Google CEO: If an AI bubble pops, no one is getting out cleanEnglish
4·14 days agoActually it’s more about the how. The people betting against the housing market put their chips down as early as 2005. They just had to find a way to profit from it.

Technology@lemmy.world•Google CEO: If an AI bubble pops, no one is getting out cleanEnglish
42·15 days agoMake no mistake. Just like the housing bubble of 2007 and 2008 there are people poised and ready to make tons of money off of the deflation of the AI bubble.
