  • Depends on the game and platform really.

Been using game cheats since IDDQD and IDKFA. I’ve never used a cheat in a multiplayer competitive game, that’s like cheating at golf. No one really cares what your fucking score is, and cheating ruins any and all accomplishment and personal validation from competing. At that point, you’re just being an asshole to other people for imaginary clout, and you should really consider what is gratifying about playing in the first place.

  • Supposedly, that is the whole deal with the Chilean Sea Bass that he gloats about. Spared no expense. Apparently that fish sounds fancy, but is actually super cheap. The whole park needed to have the shine of a top-of-the-line facility, but in the end, Ingen and Hammond had no idea what they were really cooking up.

The raptors for instance, I always got the feeling that paddock was kind of small and rapidly constructed. Those things had killed multiple people in the past, and the park’s response was cram them into a jail cell. You’d think an intelligent, dangerous animal, that was not part of the tour or experience would be euthanized, rather than risk the whole park…but here is Ingen not dealing with the problem, and instead, actively making more raptors.

  • Yeah. It’s always fun “convincing” the bean-counters that spending money is usually cheaper “in the long run”.

Soecifically, my department was refurbishing laptops to enable us to keep our new hires supplied with computers. We asked for a nice new computer for a department VP coming in, and we got told to send a refurb. That guy put in about a dozen tickets in the first week about how one of the desk workers had a newer computer. We just sent those straight to the team that denied giving us the money for new computers.

And because management lacks nuance, that extra budget came with a new policy…“No more refurbished computers”. So when an intern got hired, and all we had was a few refurbs and a 2200 dollar executive 2-in-1 ultra book, we sent the ultra book. After 3 layers of that guy’s bosses submitted immediate tickets demanding to have their brand new, lower spec machines replaced, accounting finally decided that they should let my team do the work we were hired to do.

Not even close. Make them start with 60k in debt, they need to pay 6k back every turn, and there is 5% interest on the debt. The debt is paid first and cannot be removed with bankruptcy Also, after 10 turns, if they own no properties, but have made the minimum payment each time, there is a 3% chance that the debt is forgiven. At the end of 20 turns, if they have made all the minimum payments, and they own no properties, flip 9 coins. If all of them are heads, then the debt is forgiven.
