Edit: I was attempting to point out that the US, especially under Trump, is an unreliable partner and not an entity worth making deals with if one one expects that deal to last or be in one’s benefit. There’s literally no part of comment about Ukraine’s autonomy, dependency, or governance structure (past or present).
