No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Why do some people have so many browser tabs open?
4·8 days agoI don’t save tabs between sessions because of my ADHD. Otherwise I’d drown in them. This way I’m forced to use bookmarks for things I really need and the useless clutter gets removed once I close my browser.
Which US sites have US visitors only? Apart from government.
I see you’ve played saucy spicy before

memes@lemmy.world•"One piece after the 37 episode gets really good"
121·20 days agoI never watched one Piece but there’s no way you need over a thousand episodes for whatever story they are trying to tell. I can’t wrap my head around that.
Y’all are so occupied by this whole Epstein thing that you forget to riot every week because your government is literally dismantling what is left of US democracy.
Okay a couple rich people raped children. That’s horrible, but does it really matter now? Do you think the MAGA regime will just stop their fascist plans once there is hard evidence? Trump is above the law and his followers only believe what he says.
This happens to me at least weekly and I can’t take it anymore
That’s why I have a physical timer bolted to the cupboard door in my kitchen.

Games@lemmy.world•Steam Hardware [new Steam Controller, Steam Machine, and VR headset Steam Frame, coming in 2026]English
1·23 days agoTrackpads give options. Sure most first person games have controller support. Coming from mouse and keyboard, I still can’t stand playing those with a stick though. Trackpad + Gyro is an absolute game changer, I prefer that even over a mouse now.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What are popular, iconic, and must-listen songs from where you are from?
2·25 days agoHere is a song collaboratively written by both Babymetal and the equally weird German band Electric Callboy:
My take is that societies became too big. In small communities like families, people don’t act capitalist. Humans typically moved in groups of a few dozens for most of their existence. Go above 150 or so and it starts to be less personal and less communist.l

memes@lemmy.world•A language like a set of building blocks.
22·25 days agoThe “en” part puts “krank” in genitive though, so “car of the sick” or “sick’s car” would be a more accurate translation. The car is not sick after all.

Linux@lemmy.ml•What distro do you install on other's computers?
2·30 days agoManjaro sometimes breaks AUR packages because it slightly laggs behind Arch and depedencies aren’t met. But I’ve been using it for years regardless and I really like it!
