Pull a Tampopo and break in to cook them yourself (and clean up so no one knows). >:3

Try digging through this site if you want. It’s how I found out when (appr.) and where mine was made. It was pretty cool learning the history of my ~80 year old pan.

The cast-iron I’ve been using for the past 16 years was probably made in the 1940’s in Ontario and will likely still be around after I die, unless someone leaves it in the rain or something. With coated pans I’d have to buy new ones every four years or so (which is not only costly but environmentally unfriendly)… not to mention the health risks of using non-stick, which are negligible IF you never forget it on a hot burner; it will overheat and the coating will break down and leach into your food.
Gas ranges also release toxins into the air which can only be properly extracted if you cook under a fume hood, like one you might find in a chemistry lab… even the best kitchen exhaust fans can’t exchange the air that well and you’re left breathing in carcinogens everyday when you cook your meals. So, if one uses a coated pan on a gas stove… well.
IMO the best choices are anything except coated pans on an induction stove. I read somewhere induction stoves are more efficient but I’ve never actually looked into it. Cast irons can certainly be a pain in the ass to maintain, but once you get a good coating on there it’s smooth cooking until something acidic is cooked with it, or a roommate puts it in the dishwasher for you… which is why it’s good to also have a steel pan also. I’ve never eve heard of copper pans lol, sounds expensive.

That poor human is stuck there for eternity D:
Cheetahs are apparently super chill as long as they’re not hungry, otherwise they’ll eat you so they can be super chill again.
Bandcamp is really the only online music service that actually pays artists a decent amount for their content.
Invidious is a youtube front end; it enables one to watch any youtube video regardless, without any tracking or advertisements. I linked to one of the only stable instances of it I know of.
Do you care about having decent enough devices to enjoy it or do you just buy the cheapest pair of earbuds to silence the world around you?
I can’t afford truly high end gear, so I try to get the best possible; currently, it’s a set of pebble speakers and some sony headphones that I think I lucked out on because they sound amazing. I have some clunky monoprice headphones that are like honey for my ears, but the cord is broken and I can’t solder it together again. *I’ve also spent a considerable amount of time finding FLAC copies of everything I wan to listen too, which has been really easy to do once I found a certain, respectable website…
I have a bit less than a terabyte of music that I add too sometimes if I come across something. I have it all backed up an external drive, which is really the only reason I bought it.
Do you have favorite albums or do you just hit play on a random playlist and zone out?
Right now I’ve been consistently listening to Zoe Keating, all her albums are great imo. Honourable mention to LCD Soundsystem, Ólafur Arnalds, Bonobo, OK Go, Odesza, Hump Back, Bombay Bicycle Club and Big|Brave (in no real order).
Do you ever listen to music just to enjoy it and nothing else?
Sometimes, but mostly it’s while doing other things like homework or shit posting.
Do you talk with passion about your favorite songs/albums/artists?
Not really, I’ve never met anyone that cares enough.
Do you spend time searching for music?
I sometimes find bands I like posted on the main music comm for lemmy, but usually it’s not my vibe, even though I could say it’s good. I would say that I’m satiated at this moment of time.

I suppose; however, I usually link a few sites that basically hold a users hand while leading them through it. Including text to copy and paste into the command line and how to open the command line. Pretty much anything that might be a barrier is taken care of.
Yep, it’s standard pharmacological research procedure after all.

You can remove it, with adb. Rather simple when it’s set up.

I would honestly kms. I’d rather be blind… big props to people who have experienced that and still exist.
One of my cats was really fluffy and would soak up water with his paw and lick it off. Sometimes this was right after he went poo and now I know what cat litter tastes like.
Did you try directly from the tap? Some cats are boujee like that. I had an elder cat that would pretty much only drink from the tap or anything that was filled from the tap. He would often hop onto the bathroom sink and sit there, meowing until someone came to turn the tap on for him

Someone was a doing a lot of hard work subtracting big scary numbers in their budget sheet.
Caleful with that, I hear tell those cause sinusoidals.
It reminds me of a condition owls get sometimes where certain muscles in their neck become overstressed and can’t be used, so you have an owl that can’t stand straight. The way to treat it is a full body cast so the muscles can relax. (IIRC)
