It does punish you for downvoting, though, and sometimes even upvoting. Just by upvoting what you like or think is important and downvoting what you think is bullshit on All, you can collect quite a few bans. Which is bullshit IMO.

I’m about twice your age, German and still got a St Nicholas gift bag from my mother. The answer might be “never”.
It’s true in that almost every food item is made “with science” (university-educated food technicians, biochemists, engineers etc.) these days, but you hardly need science to make common drugs like alcohol, caffeine or nicotine. Coffee and tobacco are just plants, and fruit will spontaneously start fermenting all on their own.
I tried buying more physical books. I have a small stack of it, but I can’t motivate myself to actually keep reading them. And there’s always the danger that I find a page turner that’ll keep me reading the entire night …

I had to replace mine every couple of years because they break (i.e. start leaking).
I always build my own PC. It’s only relatively easy if you’re used to the process, and even then it’s still substantially more difficult than gaming, because mistakes actually have consequences and many parts can’t just be sent back after you tried installing them.
TBF there’s quite a lot of time that goes into researching the right parts and the right shops to buy from, which depending on the person might be considerably less enjoyable than gaming and also requires more mental presence than many games.
A lot of disco was great. Listen to some Chic!

Depends on how little drug use counts as “drug-abusing”. I’d assume the majority of people use drugs like alcohol, nicotine, caffeine and cannabis/THC, and most use them for recreational purposes or “to deal with the stress”.
Same issue with “computer nerd”, really. One person’s nerd is another one’s normie.
If you’re changing your name for gender change reasons, it has recently become quite easy if you live in Germany. Probably not going to last given the far right’s popularity, though.
Probably depends on where you live. Laws differ substantially between different countries and possibly even between federal states.
Based on you not mentioning your country, I assume USA, though.

It’s the texture for me. But it’s not nearly as bad if the penis is all the way in.

The tankie servers are a pretty big part of Lemmy and they’re pretty fucked up, too. I’m not even anti-communist, but that particular brand of leftism is definitely fucked up. They’re only somewhat tolerable because they’re very far from being in power and at least pay lip service to most progressive ideas, but they’re bootlickers just the same.
The strength of Lemmy is that servers can defederate, and you can personally block entire servers, too (though those personal blocks are rather imperfect).

Yes and no - those posts would go on lemmynsfw, and AFAIK most lemmy servers don’t federate with it.

And that’s supposed to discourage me?

Works for me, though, so it’s not intrinsically broken.

Could be because it’s an svg, i.e. a vector graphic! Power move by OP IMO.

A bucket of milk with some coffee and a lot of sugar is a great breakfast! You’ll have great shits, too, especially if you combine it with the beer-only dinner!
