Thank you for your hard work.

Thank you for your hard work.
I am getting old, my first reaction was nice Homm III cosplay.
I think the question is how much money do I need to know what is going on?
Well you also get greek for the European vibes. And kebab according to Germans.
D is probably the best region.
Congrats on fixing your audio.
3D rendering is the one thing Nvidia does better on Linux, I still do not understand why AMD makes it so difficult to access productivity features of their cards.
So the general missing driver thing. We do not have enough users, so companies don’t make drivers and we have to hope the community makes open source ones.
This might be a dumb question, but why are so many people saying they have sound issues? Did I just get lucky with the pc’s I have run Linux on and never have sound problems?
I did know about Lisbon. I remember hearing the Swiss canton of Vaud had around 60% of it’s population was foreigners. Which resulted in the local Swiss no longer being able to afford any form of housing anymore.
No I get it is not the same but the problems are similar. Too many tourist in a city with too few houses and apartments that are now being used as bnbs.
So it is the same as in the rest of Europe with a helping of mass tourism so similar to Amsterdam and Paris.
From what I heard from my brother, he lives in Barcelona, they are banning bnbs and short term rentals. In order to combat this problem.
Considering that the Dutch were below average before the second world war, I think your hypothesis is wrong. I think they were just compensating for being tiny during that time.
On a more serious note, I just think the Dutch had zero scruples (inventors of modern capitalism and all).
They just didn’t care how many people they screwed over aslong as they could get one more Gulden in their pocket.

As much as I want to joke that it is the year of the Linux desktop, I think it is mostly because the younger you are the less likely you are to have a pc (so Windows, Mac, Linux and BSD for the dozens of you).
As far as I can see most of the time people use their phone for everything and only touch a pc for work or if they have a hobby that requires the use of a pc (gaming, digital art, music, programming, etc…).

The only thing it will do is turn off potential users because they either feel attacked for using a perfectly useable os or they do want want to be associated with the onmine culture around the os.
Absolutely a possibility

I am talking for handhelds which are treated as consoles so the underlying os or gui makes no difference. Unless it stops you from playing the game you like.
No one should tell you to leave an os if it works for you.
You are asuming they do physical work and aren’t just white collar.
Well, he just lives in the wrong country. In the Netherlands or Belgium (for example) you can get large fries.
