I think people just go for the cheaper option which coincides with being a mobile form factor. If Sony thinks they can be more expensive than the switch they are mistaken.

I think that depends very much on your jurisdiction and the type of content you download. In Germany when I did things without VPN I most of the time downloaded english content and not the latest blockbusters. Copyright enforcment companies, at least back then, were hired for specific newer movies. Now I have things more automated so I’d rather not risk tripping any wires.

I do not game on Linux exclusively, but I am very comfortable with this situation. Imagine being reliant on epic games instead. Valve is actively working on gaming on Linux and they should earn some money for the efforts, software doesn’t maintain itself… yet.

For my service, I requested it and got everything they swapped out sent back along. IIRC it is a section on the repair form.
