Ooo I stumbled across this yesterday, peaked my interest and I bought it. Looks interesting, can’t wait to play it!

Tutorials only explain the concepts, maybe takes you 10% there. The rest is is practical application and applying the methods. You might be able to copy and paste some code but I will bet my bottom dollar that there will be some nuances for your use case that you have to amend manually. Thinking about the logic and how everything connects to each other is often the part that takes the longest and the most challenging.
What I can say is that if you like problem solving, technology is a great drug to get your fix, it is endless.
I think your last paragraph is crucial. Throughout my career in technology. I have met a lot of smart engineers. But understanding the business and the dynamics there of is often not considered by a lot of people. This I believe is also a scale and becomes more relevant the larger the organisation is.

4·7 months agoTorzu is a fork of Yuzu, so essentially the same thing, just being kept updated. I am not familiar with emudeck but I am sure it will be compatible. I know files like saves etc from Yuzu work with Torzu.

9·7 months agoI started using it last week. It works well so far although I have only played the new donkey Kong. Take note that Torzu has gone to the dark web, so if you want it you need to go through TOR. This is good because this makes take down near impossible.

21·8 months agoI never do but I know you can. But once again it is not as easy as casting. You could for example get a dock and have Xbox remotes which could emulate a console feel. My suggestion is to do research before you buy and see if it caters for your needs. Is it a good device? Yes. Is it super user friendly? Depends on the user.

3·8 months agoYeah it’s a hefty price tag but I wanted the extra battery. The Z1 extreme has pretty much the same performance and come with 500gb storage, with a better price tag. You can always upgrade your battery and ssd if you want to later down the line.
I love the device! The fact that I can play pc games in my hand is a huge win for me. I work in front of a pc the whole day. Last thing I want is to sit in front of a pc for gaming. But you must understand it is a pc and not a console. You have more setting and things to tinker with setting to get best performance unlike a console where it is just plug and play.

122·8 months agoI jumped ship from Switch to handheld pc. The pc game prices was a big part, especially older games don’t hold value. For example I got Middle Earth shadow of war for like $6. I still sometimes miss my switch but I will definitely wait a while before I decide on a switch 2.

I gave it a run on the ROG ally yesterday. The right trigger is your main button to chop, combat, etc. The only way it worked was to spam the button which was not great. I did some research and seems that with some settings this can be fixed. None the less the game does look cool. Indies are where it’s at!
