Boost for Lemmy@lemmy.world•Sync for lemmy has been released on google play. What about Boost for lemmy? When is it coming?English
41·2 years agoI deleted sync, even though I was using sync before. For now, Summit is better for me. Free and fluid. No ads. In fact, $20 is not a lot of money if you live in a developed country. Unfortunately, it’s a lot of money for my country.

Fediverse@lemmy.world•Viewing lemmy posts by all tends to be dominated by a few communities
301·2 years agoIf a community has grown a lot, unfortunately it takes up all the posts on the homepage. If I were a developer, I would sort by weighted success. For example, if the “x” community has 1000 subscribers and the post gets 100 likes, it has ten percent success. If the other ‘y’ community has 100 people and gets 11 likes, it has 11 percent success. This overrides the post in community x because the post in community y is more successful. This is the logic of ‘weighted success’. With this logic, a better ranking formula can be created.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•If you could have one small thing as a superpower. What would it be and why?
8·2 years agoI wouldn’t advise you to get depressed with this superpower. 🙂

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Downvotes = “I disagree” or “this is bad and you should feel bad”?English
16·2 years agoIf I want an article to be read by others, I give an upvote. I’ll downvote if I don’t want it. It has nothing to do with my side of the idea or the event. For example, a rape news was shared. My upvoting does not mean that I support the incident, it just means that it will come to the fore so others can see it.

Fediverse@lemmy.world•How would you feel about awards on lemmy?English
21·2 years agoI have an idea. Now I thought about it. Lemmy will allow the server owner to create a “paid” community. The name of this community will be like “helpforlemmy.world” or “coffeeforruud”. People will pay to be able to subscribe to this community. These communities will be passive and only people who want to help will have sent money by subscribing.

Fediverse@lemmy.world•What do you think is the best solution to having the same named communities on different instances?
1·2 years agoİt’s very difficult. It will be a feature of uniting/separating communities. This will only visually show the groups as a whole. We will also be able to name this group. In this way, we will be able to see the content on similar topics in different instances as a whole.

Fediverse@lemmy.world•Why are people so interested in mass adoption of things like fediverse?English
2·2 years agoI actually don’t want it to grow any more. There are enough creators available now. People are understanding and knowledgeable .

Wow perfect. The house I stayed in two years ago for 800 TL is now 8000 TL. I’m in Turkiye
