I don’t think it should be a problem, but I’m not that sure either. Lemmy.fedi.zutto.fi also runs it and that’s just a normal lemmy-ui installation. I think Zutto simply forwarded all traffic to Anubis and then fixed federation. There was some discussion and config shared in sopuli’s finnish matrix room.

I just set up Anubis today. Specifically I’m only testing it for Lemmy-ui, and it seems to work fine.
It looks like the distributed waves that keep bringing the service down hit exclusively our lemmy-ui subdomain, so maybe non-SSR photon is also a good defense, heh.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Would you be interested in and engage with a Lemmy community for video game mods and modding?
2·1 year agoI think I created one over a year ago, but never got around to actually get it started. I don’t have the energy to keep subs alive. So yes, I’d like to see that.

Fediverse@lemmy.world•Did the largest Ukraine community & its instance got nuked?English
28·1 year agoUsually the news only concern the instance’s users. If you want to find announcements, the community is often named either meta or main.
But maybe a common place for instance status announcements isn’t such a bad idea.

34·1 year agoThe instance admin is working on migrating the server as we speak. It’ll be back up sooner or later.
I think this is a known problem. I’ve seen it recommended a lot to moderate communities from the same instance.

Not really. MS and others have grown dependent on it, and going forward with eee would be shooting their own web service foot.

3·2 years agoI joined fediseer with this lemmy instance. I don’t know what’s going to happen with your self-built software, but getting a guarantee is easy, if your instance looks credible. I’m not aware of anyone that uses it as a filter at this point either.
Anyway, this is an awesome project. If you keep working on it and need a fediseer guarantor for the site, I’m happy to do that.
