My neighborhood fits that description and we have tons of kids going through. About 50% of the houses were participating. Adults had parties at driveways too. Oh and it was raining. Apparently doesn’t stop anybody in Oregon.

I’m somewhat computer literate. Used Linux for close to 15 years, but I’m a user, not a wizard level or ricer. Currently running OpenSuse tw on my laptop. So last month I did your normal distribution upgrade and everything broke. I honestly don’t know how computer illiterate people would deal with that. Turned out new kernel broke my system for unknown reasons and I had to switch to stable kernel instead. It wasn’t easy for me even with forum help. For some people it would be impossible.
Exactly. I was on an empty flight red eye PDX to Boston. Didn’t get cancelled, but what sucked that they didn’t have first class, so I still had to be crammed into those tiny seats. Couldn’t sleep as always.

Whatever this is is not charming.
Hot take. Fireworks are stupid and disruptive.

OpenSuse does all of this or almost all of this.
So kind of off topic. Like 15 years ago emacs vs vim split in engineering was like 50-50. Now I see more like like 90-10 with vim winning. What happened? I always assumed they are equivalent more or less.

Somebody would manage to take offense. No doubt in my mind.
I don’t know what market is like in Europe or what country specifically you’re talking about. In US, small farm economics require high prices to be sustainable. Not just for eggs, but for produce and meat too. Of course you don’t have to buy from them, but I do. Obviously big farms can sell it for less, but those are the one affected by bird flu.
That’s dumb. 2.50 is not a sustainable price. If you get local eggs from a humane farm, they are going to be expensive. It’s just how it is man. If anything, that should cause you using them wiser.

I disagree. I would still prefer to eat breakfast on my veranda with ocean view. Real ocean view.

Curious how they decide who lives in desirable spots. Like Cali coast of something similar?

Never watched the show. I wonder how they select who lives in on ocean front of California cost, who’s on the second row and who’s 30 miles from the coast?

Really? I’ve had lots of excellent Kolsch in USA . Try Rosenstadt in Portland for example.

Just go out there and protest man. You can do it. Organize and all that. But some shotguns or whatever.

Translation: I don’t want to to go or of my comfort zone and actually do anything. I just want those other people across the world to fix it for me.

Sounds interesting. I’ll check it out.
Are catios not common? Audubon society in Portland has yearly tour of them in Portland. https://www.feralcats.com/catio
