We are just one tiny step away from the legendary sentient toilet, the one the Internet has long debated the love or hate relationship with its owner.

Gross, sounds like a Tate Bro.
Yeah I’ve cut down heavily on my social media
I don’t know who Logan Paul is or why I shouldn’t subscribe or unsubscribe and at this point I’m afraid to ask

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•I went to a grocery store in the morning that I normally go to at night and they had dimmed lights, soft music, as well as no sounds coming from the cash registers
201·5 days agoHello, I work in retail in Australia. The shopping malls I’m at all have “quiet time” for “people with sensory issues” every Tuesday morning from 9 to 11:30 am. It is as you described, and I agree with you.
Now I’m not sure where I stand on the spectrum but I’ve heard colleagues say they also prefer the quiet time, so, there you go. I just don’t understand the point of bombarding people with music all the time especially for Christmas.

I never heard of this artist or album before, so far I’m 1/4 through the listening and digging it, thanks for posting
That’s a good unicorn. I think Daft Punk also had Human After All as another unicorn type, very industrial, very unique, often overlooked.
I guess it’s implied that somebody else is making a profit out of the pregnancy, since the mother is brain dead. So if it was a normal thing to do you could imagine clinics perhaps, buying brain dead women and then offering surrogate pregnancies. Or maybe I got it wrong?
Yassss shattered yasssss
It’s not an amazing meme and I’m not sure I agree with it, but in my understanding it is trying to say that we, Lemmy users, are experienced and not naive unlike Reddit users.
You are probably right though

18·9 days agoThe Prodigy - The Fat of The Land
It’s a one of a kind album. I don’t think the prodigy ever made another album that good. And I don’t think there is anything else out there similar to it. It has its own energy, it’s definitely a unicorn type.
Gee that brings me some flashbacks!

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Video games with good cave and dungeon ambience music? (Other than TES)
1·9 days agoI looked this up and the music was great, but I found it too epic and/or expressive for what I was after. I guess that’s what art is about, right? I’m definitely keeping this in mind for something else, I was looking for something more mellow in this occasion. Thanks for the suggestion, I’m loving the answers so far

1·9 days agoI haven’t played either game and both are on my list. I searched the witcher soundtrack and I think it’s really good, I was impressed. But I found the cave/dungeon/crypt music a bit too intense for what I was after. Great suggestion though
I haven’t searched BG2… I have hopes of playing the game soon.

I know. I was just adding to the joke in the universe where we already have sentient microwaves.
