Tried it with a Nvidia card. The graphics were oddly blurry and grainy, especially anything in shadows, no matter the settings. Couldnt get past that. I’m not going to play potentially dozens of hours of nausea simulator.

Niven in general is an excellent writer and a great worldbuilder, I highly recommend pretty much all of his works.

There’s also a Larry Niven sci fi novel that sort of revolves around potassium in many points of the story. I really like it, I’ve re-read it a few times.

Hey thanks! Synthpop might be the closest genre - I started checking youtube with keywords you provided, and adding french to it; eg. “french synthpop , french synthwave”. Those started giving results that I percieve to be similar to the two examples.
