There’s nothing that can be done. Republicans have every bit of power there is. At least for the next two years.

From my viewpoint, Trump is and will be causing social hardship much more than economic hardship.
I could possibly see a benefit in preparing for a harder times socially. Further division among neighbors might be the main casualty of this administration. Social cohesion is already struggling from his first four years.
Economically, I have no confidence in Trump’s actions overall, but I am very confident that his massive ego determines his actions, and that ego is largely held up by the performance of the stock market. He will be very careful not to take any action that will rattle the markets too much. Whenever he see a negative reaction in the markets, he pulls back, claims a moral victory and moves on to the next thing.
Anecdote: My Trumpster in-laws could not stop yacking about “Biden’s high eggs prices” just last month. Haven’t heard a peep about the price of eggs since Trump came back. Now it’s just “God’s will.”

Didn’t say he was. Just saying if he did such crazy things that even the crazies drop out, he could be removed. That’s extremely hard in the US. You’re basically stuck with the moron for four years.

And that’s the problem with the US election system. In basically any other developed democracy, there are ways to call a new special election. The four years are often the max between elections, not the minimum.
If a new leader proves unpopular, you toss them out and install a new one.
Assuming you can sell the Tesla, doesn’t that just mean that there are just as many people looking to buy a Tesla?

This is true. And right now, at least for the next two years, they have every bit of conceivable power there is. The President, the Senate, the House, the Supreme Court. There are no checks and balances of Donald Trump.
Generally speaking, wealth is not built by working. It’s built by investing. It’s possible to have a relatively small salary and get relatively wealthy if you consistently live below your means and invest the surplus. Power of compounding.

Go as a student and find a spouse while you’re there for the easiest way to stay after you’re done with school.

Lol. Can’t unsee.

This is absolutely true, but I do think that a lot of Americans are in fact ready to hear this. There is just a lot of money and power involved. And those with money and power don’t want to change it since it won’t improve their lives. There’s also religion involved. And many Republicans are religious and have been fooled into thinking that universal healthcare is all about allowing abortion.
At least it’s probably an EV from one of his factories in China because he want to help save the climate…

Pretty sure the carafe was meant to be shared and he could have poured some into a glass. Lol

I would have preferred shoes on in this situation. Ideally, keep your shoes on and feet on the floor.

I’m going to point out that you edited without editing.
They are for sure in trouble somewhere. The Europeans will definitely be offended.
I get it, but it’s still comparing apples to oranges. This situation could have happened in any country and also in the US with or without universal healthcare.
A pregnant women was refused entrance to a private hospital she was forced to give birth on the parking lot in front of the entrance.
Much different situation than in the US. They didn’t go bankrupt. The private hospital just wanted to send them to the maternity room down the road. Was it a mistake by the hospital? Yes. But it wasn’t because of lack of insurance or money and the mother didn’t got bankrupt.
So much for the 1st Amendment. Guess that’s only valid when it fuels the Trumpsterfire.
