The onion cannot top this headline

I think this is another scheme to manipulate the stocks, some people will buy low and know when to sell, just before some staged drama by the administration to raise the prices suddenly
It’s like an uncanny valley , so close to reality but different enough to elicit feelings

I would prefer my privacy software to be developed by people like this, rather than people who are calm and flexible

There has been a grassroots movement to stop corruption and it has made progress. The war has hampered this effort.

Which propaganda? The American effort to make the corruption seem less so; the people who want to end a horrible war and will try anything to stop it; or the people who sympathize with Russia?
Driven by our mission of “shaping the global future together,” the Atlantic Council is a nonpartisan organization that galvanizes US leadership and engagement in the world, in partnership with allies and partners, to shape solutions to global challenges.
Ukraine has a corruption issue, it was what drove the Ukrainian revolution a decade ago. And while great strides were made to eliminate some of it, it’s still an huge and important issue that is separate from the war
Increases of purity testing is a symptom of being ineffectual. It is frustrating being a socialist when things fall apart and there are no real plans of action.
What do people do when they feel powerless?
The effort to put the AI into Firefox harmed the project and unrelated services. My opinion is it was not worth the cost
To me, AI in Firefox is a symbol for why and how Mozilla lost its momentum. I could have used other bone headed and incompetent decisions, but the switch to the AI had such a large burden that it’s literally the poster child for inept management.

Narrator: it was not over until the year 2031
I noticed a difference between two sides is that one is groups that messed with local politics and the other is personalities only.
This is because most local politics, and organizing for socialism at a community level, collapsed in the last two generations.

I don’t have numbers in front of me, but I think only a slim minority of contributors make money off their work. And those that do make money often can only do so because of the earlier, unpaid, work by others which caused the projects to be valued and widely used

Very cheap, but the cost is not only money but influence: billionaire politicians can be swayed by a measly million dollar bribe. The money is more a social norms thing in those circles. A token
Crowd funding cannot exert influence. It is not corrupt, does not own slave factories or stifle tens of thousands with unethical behavior.

Software patents… under some circumstances this would cripple many small USA companies, or legalize protection rackets where they must pay money

That is very true

And I’m glad you shared it; I just never can see an article without using an archive

I always get a paywall with this newspaper

What’s stopping a sustained, constructive public inquiry into these parallels between past cover-ups and current information control?
There is no mechanism to promote the investigation. At best there will be queries like you made for the general, and social media reactions to specific events as they unfold.
A large chunk of government, politics, and press in the USA no longer exists. There are no authorities to turn too, now or later, regardless who gains power in Washington.
Most of the Anglosphere outside the USA is in a free fall too, a few years behind, maybe 20 years.

It gives one month of bad luck for each time used. If the power is activated to help others without benefit for yourself, then it’s sloppy good luck instead. You are fortunate in a tragic way.
The timer and type is reset each time power manifested

The open source developers should unionize against the large corporations not paying them. A virtual picket line, and collective bargaining
But only some distros should be used !
