It’s boring work being an Orc. You definitely need some sort of hobby to keep busy. So why not try goth raves?

Thank you! It’s been a lot of fun doing these. I’m just glad I’ve gotten a chance to talk about games I play. I like to help people broaden their horizons, and I think in a way this has helped me broaden mine too. There’s been so many people who have suggested new games and other stuff that it’s helped me try new experiences (ironic considering all the Halo it’s been lately though).
So, uh, I guess what I’m saying is fuck you too!

I think it’s just his undershirt but now that you point out I see it

I always hear people praise the Shadow franchise, and not to put Mordor down, but get the feeling War is the one everyone is talking about, so I do plan on playing it. I know a bit about it and it sounds like a lot of fun

I would have loved to see that in so many games. It pisses me off that they have it locked up like that

I almost considered doing something special to celebrate. It only feels like a few months ago i did a 1 year though

I don’t believe it was a flatpak, i’m not 100% sure though.
But yeah, this change is nice. I was able to use hardware acceleration and Game Recording without crashing which is nice

On Linux Valve’s Proton makes it so easy. Literally makes it basically the same as playing on Windows (save for a few rare games that don’t work). As for how long I’ve done it, I just have a lot of free time on my hand

I’ve been thinking about swapping some parts and that’s how I am too. Namely my GPU and Wi-Fi card. I’m paranoid it will bust something. I suppose tinkering is like 50% of what I do for fun, but still. With how much I need my PC I’m hesitant

That’s how I am with 8. All my friends like to play 8 and they’ve got over 500 hours in it, meanwhile I have sub 100. They’re over here pulling off tricks and glitches while I’m accidentally drifting the wrong direction.
Also yeah, I agree with the small doses part. Whenever I try to relax with it I can only do 1 cup

I’ve always heard good things about DS specifically, but never really could get into it. Except DK Pass, I love that track

It was a whole bunch of stuff. Steam kept crashing while in games then reopening, taking focus away from the game. Halo just wouldn’t work with Steam Clips. It would crash whenever I tried. Hardware Acceleration just refused to work without running Steam out of the terminal with some commands. And then finally, the Game Mode (which was like a major reason I picked Bazzite) was too slow to be practical and Game Clips just didn’t work.
I was using the GNOME desktop instead of KDE which may have been affecting things, I’m not sure, but I had heard good things about CachyOS and Big Picture mode can substitute for a proper Game Mode. I decided if I was going to do a reinstall I may as well try it first.

Yeah. I’m getting what you mean by that. It’s weird. Black Flag with like 100 chests and a bunch of extras and I feel like a longer story didn’t feel like a grind. But this one does

I mean, I used a smoke bomb to assassinate them on en masse, so not too far off

Me and my friends have been talking about going back in again for LASO. We’re not sure though because there’s a huge skill gap between half our usual 4 and we don’t want them to feel like they arent being helpful

It’s the first I’m hearing of it but it sounds interesting. I usually take issue with my Mario Kart games having too many tracks (I find people usually pick 1 favorite and spam that when there’s too many plus just makes a decision hard and overwhelming), but i do think that’d be interesting to have all those tracks ported

I think Mario Kart 64 is honestly just very foundational of a Mario Kart. Besides the controls being iffy, it really just plays well, has solid all around courses, music, and a nice selection of characters. Plus it’s where we see a lot of the modern powerups i think

Spaghetti Kart (The Recompilation I play on) has a Track Maker i think and i believe you can share tracks between players, but i’m not sure how good any of the custom tracks are.
The newer ones are pretty but there’s too much going on in many of the tracks (and I’m really not fond of the flying/water thing they do either).
I do agree though about the newer ones, it has way too much going on in the courses. Furthermore, Me and My friends are in disagreement but i think the roster is too big and there’s too many tracks

Fair enough. The drift on MK64, love it as i do, is abysmal
Shadow of Mordor is around 2014, right? I wonder if they took inspiration from WB work on Arkham Origins
