Does that tell you what you need?
I’m more of a concert guy but I have some more AV work coming up. I definitely need wireless workbench and a media player, but also a Qlab equivalent (I guess obs could still work?) and whatever else you think I need as a 25y pro. What limitations do you see or experience as a Linux user?
Our lives are so segmented that we only see our cousins once a year

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Why does it feel like there is currently less new games, songs, YouTube videos, valuable articles and creations in general?
1·5 days agoI think both things can be true. Maybe before it was 90% posting to legacy platforms and now it’s dropped to 70%
Just theorizing though

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Why does it feel like there is currently less new games, songs, YouTube videos, valuable articles and creations in general?
4·5 days agoI think part of it is people leaving the biggest platforms, making everything more decentralized but still on proprietary servers so no federation. That and it’s tough out there right now.
I really want to be able to “spoiler” a word in a sentence without a line break
Yes. You can do the same kind of rationalizing with most stories. People do it all the time, explaining why it actually makes sense why the the dragon lady went crazy at the end of
game of thrones
I haven’t actually seen got but it was the first example that came to mind for a situation that didn’t totally make sense in the context of the story but people have been able to rationalize what happened to make it turn the way it did even though their explanation is not canon

21·16 days agoThis feels right but I’m very curious what’s going to replace it. And no, it’s not bidets. I have one that I use and it helps, but I still need TP to finish up, and not just to dry yourself off.

8·25 days agoOkay looking further into the article makes me retract caring about the part I quoted. I agree that we’re heading for the societal collapse stated there. The American empire is going to fall and I’m optimistic about that. Because, like Kemp says, that often improves the lives of the ordinary citizen.
