  • Care a lot. I’ve been playing music since I was 5, 40s now, listening just as long. I admit to being an audio snob and enjoy high-end setups, but I can be happy with a decent pair of ear buds too (my nice setup is in storage, and I’m dying withoPlaylist.

Music is 100% emotional for me. Whether it’s playing, writing or listening, it has gotten me through many boughts of depression and brought me down from highs of anxiety. It helps me process a lot of emotions I have trouble expressing.

My tastes tend to skew hardrock/metal but absolutely have a wide range in tastes. I do tend to prefer listening to whole albums vs individual songs when possible, but when streaming I keep it on new release/band recommendation playlists.

  • This is me with Overwatch. My game sense helped me so much more than click head skills. I would support main and shot call and it was a huge game changer. I eventually went to dps role and was amazed and how effective I actually was just from literal years playing backline and knowing how most games would flow and who to target. I eventually outranked my support and tank roles in dps despite being mediocre from a skill standpoint.

  • This sounds like one of the many hispanic old wives tales I have heard through my wife’s family. Tickling was one of them,

Babies aren’t supposed to see their reflection because it will make them vain

Put a red bracelet on the baby to repel evil spirits

Don’t let strangers touch the baby because it will transfer jealousy to the baby

There’s so many more, and WAY more not baby based myths that I have learned that could fill this thread.
